When the interior designer decided she wanted her first home, she reckoned the best way to get herself onto the property ladder was to use her skills to design and build the house herself.
Her original plan to erect a house on a tight hillside plot in her parents' back garden in Falmouth, were put on hold when Kathryn's father died.
Now Kathryn has revived her concept, designing a Scandinavian inspired eco house to fit this extremely limiting plot. Although built from quite conventional materials, the house itself is far from normal.
