Award Winning House Features Thermowood Cladding
Wood is Good for Sustainable development
Bennetts Timber is pleased to have supplied Thermowood D cladding to developer Colin Goodwin for his fantastic new sustainable house near Grimsby in Lincolnshire. The house has won a top prize in the Sustainable Buildings - Domestic Category at the regional LABC Awards and will now be competing in the national competion.....so fingers crossed for that!
Timber cladding is an economic and sustainable exterior material which looks fantastic. More and more architects and developers are using it in their plans for new homes as sustainable and carbon friendy alternatives to the traditional brick and block are becoming increasingly popular.
Thermowood D is a modified European softwood that has been heat treated to enhance its durability and longeivity.
